Product & Material Standards
Are Amazing Jewelry pieces crafted from genuine sterling silver?Yes, absolutely. Every piece in our collection is crafted from solid sterling silver, electroplated with 18k gold, white gold, rose gold, or left unplated for a classic, natural finish. We never use silver-plated alloys or nickel alloys. We also offer bespoke manufacturing for custom sterling silver jewelry, fine gold jewelry with diamonds or gemstones, and brass jewelry. Please contact our support team to discuss your custom design needs.
Do your creations feature the 925 stamp? Most of our sterling silver creations feature the 925 hallmark stamp. However, some of our unique pieces handcrafted by our master artisans do not carry the stamp by default. We are happy to add the 925 stamp to these pieces upon request, though please note this will require additional processing time.
Is your silver certified?Indeed, our silver is meticulously crafted from genuine sterling silver and is fully certified by SGS standards.
Are your jewelry pieces free from toxic metals and chemicals?Yes. All Amazing Jewelry pieces are entirely hypoallergenic and free from nickel, lead, and cadmium. Our sterling silver products strictly comply with international jewelry safety standards, including EN 1811 (for nickel release) and EN 12472 (for lead and cadmium content).
Plating & Durability
What is the plating thickness, and how long will it last? Our standard collection features a default plating thickness of 0.03 microns, which is designed to last for two months or more depending on individual wear and care. For our bespoke and custom orders, we offer premium PVD Gold, Rhodium, Palladium, and Ruthenium plating up to 5 microns—matching the standards of the world's finest luxury houses. This ultra-durable plating maintains an exquisite feel and can withstand frequent wear for over three years.
If you are designing custom creations, we recommend the following plating thicknesses based on your target market and price points (for example, 0.1 microns is ideal for earrings retailing around $30, while 1 micron is recommended for pieces retailing at $65 or more):
- Bracelets, Necklaces, and Charms: 1.0 micron
- Earrings: 0.50 micron
- Rings: 2.5 microns
Yes, tarnishing (or oxidation) is a natural characteristic of precious metals and is considered normal wear and tear rather than a manufacturing defect. This occurs naturally when silver reacts with oxygen in the air. Oxidation can be accelerated by contact with everyday elements such as perfumes, salty air, sulfur, skin creams, hairspray, chlorine, and acidic skin pH.
Jewelry Care Instructions
How should I care for my Amazing Jewelry pieces to preserve their beauty? To ensure your jewelry remains radiant and free from scratches or tarnish, we recommend the following care guidelines:
- Store each piece individually in a sealed, airtight container to prevent scratching and exposure to air.
- Keep your jewelry in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight, humidity (such as bathrooms), and intense heat.
- Remove your jewelry before showering, sleeping, or engaging in physical activities, particularly swimming or visiting hot springs. Always remove rings before washing your hands.
- Avoid contact with sweat and harsh chemicals, including perfumes, cosmetics, cleaning agents, chlorine, and saltwater.
- Gently polish your pieces with a specialized silver-polishing cloth if the jewelry begins to lose its luster.
